In the past, ceramics with 99% alumina or higher were machined or cut from blocks, but due to their high hardness, there were cost and productivity problems in making them thinner.

N-99TP uses a manufacturing method different from cutting out, enabling the production of 99% alumina substrates at a lower cost.
